Coop finally did it, he got his first award at Friday assembly!! If you ask him why he received the award, he will tell you, "I ripped a book!". This is, in fact true, however there is more to the story!! Last week Coop was looking through a book and he accidentally ripped it. He was quite upset, so he took it to the teacher and explained what had happened. He told her he wanted to fix it, so she took him to the library. The librarian helped him and gave him the award for being a "library hero"!! We are so proud of his honesty and truly hope he realizes he didn't get an award for "ripping a book"!!
Ellie Belle also received another award this past Friday! She received this one with a group of her friends for setting up a salad and smoothie bar in the classroom to demonstrate their understanding of how systems work. Well done El!!
