Last Friday, Cooper’s class provided the entertainment for the school’s Friday morning assembly! They did a very simple, yet cute performance which included acting out some books they had read and singing their favorite songs. It was evident to me on this morning how confident Coop has become over the past two years. Last year, Coop’s eyes would get big tears in them when he had to perform. At the beginning of this year, he would go on stage, but told me he did not like it and was scared (talk about breaking mommy’s heart!). Then, this time around, he was a complete pro!! He was even making goofy faces to me!!
This assembly was even more special because Coop and Eens both got awards from their teachers. Eensie received his award for always trying his hardest and doing great in school! Coop got his award for his amazing reading ability (he is reading books Eens read at the beginning of grade 1)! I am so proud of all of my children and it is so nice to see their achievements recognized by their teachers as well!!
